One-on-one Coaching with Jeanette
Do you need help figuring out what to do with a writing project? Are you preparing for a writers conference where you plan to meet with publishing professionals? Do you want feedback on your writing? Jeanette offers one-on-one coaching at an hourly rate of $65, which includes a free 30-minute consultation over the phone before getting started. If you’re interested, please reach out through her Contact page.
Hire Jeanette as a sensitivity reader.
Are you writing a novel that includes a blind or visually impaired character? Or perhaps your nonfiction book touches on topics that impact those living with disabilities and you want to make sure you’re including (and correctly representing) visual challenges. A sensitivity reader can help you avoid stereotypes and misconceptions, describe details like mobility and adaptation accurately, understand the full scope of what it’s like to live with limited eyesight, and portray someone with limited sight as a multi-layered human.
Jeanette would love to assist you through her service as a sensitivity reader.

Ballet Based Movement – Gentle ballet for beginners and over 50s. I discovered Susan and her mum, Elizabeth, during the pandemic and fell in love with the dance-based exercise. Susan teaches out of her flat in London, complete with her little dog, Zimmi, so it’s totally approachable and fun. She offers free lessons on YouTube as well as weekly paid Zoom classes that are super affordable.
If you love to journal when you travel – The Art of the Travel Journal by Abbey Sy. I found this book in Ireland. It confirmed my thinking that a travel journal can become a unique work of art.
