The Power of Hooks and Needles

I struggled all day over what to blog about this week. I had a couple of ideas, but none of them took shape. Then I decided to take a break to watch a YouTube video that a friend sent about inmates at Folsom Prison knitting and crocheting. I overflowed with joy as I watched guys who have very little to be proud create scarves, hats, and adorable stuffed toys, and listened to them share about the difference that this skill was making in their lives. What a beautiful reminder that there is hope for anyone. And these men do incredible work, too!
